NADpricesA clearer way to compare NAD+

NAD Prices

Trademarks

In effect September 2026.

Product names, brand names, logos and marks belonging to the sellers listed on this site are the property of their respective owners. They are used here for identification and comparison only.

The short version

This site is an independent price index. It writes about real companies and real products, so it prints their real names. None of those names belongs to us, and printing one is not a claim of any relationship with the company that owns it. Several of the companies named here would probably rather this site did not exist.

The category makes this page shorter than it would be elsewhere: almost everything this site writes about is identified by a chemical name rather than a brand name, and a chemical name is not a trademark. What follows is the small set of branded product names this site actually uses, the general position on the seller names it carries, and how to raise a concern.

Branded product names used on this site

One branded ingredient name appears in the writing here, in the research pages that discuss what NAD+ precursors are and where they came from.

Branded product names appearing in this site's own pages
NameCompanyWhat it is
NIAGENChromaDexA branded form of nicotinamide riboside chloride, one of the commercial forms of NR. Named on the niacin flush page, and in the title of a cited trial on what NAD+ is and how to increase NAD+ levels.

One row, and it is meant to be one row. Nothing else this site names is a branded product; the rest are chemical and common names, which is the section below.

Source: Ownership as named in the two FDA documents this site already cites: the NDI 1062 response letter to ChromaDex, Inc. concerning nicotinamide riboside chloride, and Agency Response Letter GRAS Notice No. GRN 000635. Read September 2026.

That table is not a register and it is not complete in the sense of listing every mark that exists in this category. It lists what this site itself uses. Any other mark that appears anywhere on these pages belongs to its owner in the same way.

Registration status and current ownership of any United States mark are matters of public record and can be checked in the Patent and Trademark Office’s public trademark search. This page names the company as the documents it already cites name it, and does not assert a registration number it has not read.

Chemical and common names are not trademarks

This distinction is the reason the table above has one row rather than a dozen, and it is worth stating plainly because it is easy to get backwards.

  • NAD+ is nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, a molecule. The name is chemical. Nobody owns it, and no seller using it in a product name is claiming to.
  • NMN is nicotinamide mononucleotide and NR is nicotinamide riboside. Both are chemical names for compounds, not brands.
  • NADH, nicotinamide, niacinamide and nicotinic acid are likewise chemical or established common names.

A company may hold a trademark on a particular preparation of one of those compounds, which is what the row above records. That is a different thing from owning the compound’s name, and this site keeps the two apart: a chemical name is used freely throughout, and a branded name is used only where a page is actually referring to that specific branded product.

Seller names

Every seller named on this index owns its own name, its own logo and whatever marks it holds, and none of that is affected by appearing here. Being listed is not a license any of them granted; it is coverage, and it applies in exactly the same way to the sellers that pay this site and the sellers that pay it nothing.

The roster itself is published, with a page for each seller, at the seller index rather than duplicated on this page. Prices attributed to any of them were read from that seller’s own public pages on the date printed beside the figure.

What that actually means

  • We do not make or sell anything. Nothing on this site is manufactured, sold, shipped, prescribed, dispensed or compounded by us. There is no inventory and no order to fill. When a page names a product, it is describing someone else’s.
  • We are not any of these companies. Every seller in the index is a separate business written about from the outside. Some pay a commission on a referred sale, which is disclosed beside every link it applies to. None of them has editorial control here.
  • Names are used to identify, not to imply. You cannot compare what companies charge without naming them, and you cannot discuss a branded preparation without using its name. That use is nominative: it identifies the thing being written about and nothing more.
  • Nobody here has been endorsed or approved. Nothing published on this site has been reviewed, approved or endorsed by any company named on it. The readings, the qualifiers and any score are this site’s own work, and the method is set out on the editorial policy page.

A commission is not a license or an endorsement

Naming a seller does not imply that the seller endorses this site, sponsors it, is affiliated with it, or has reviewed anything published about it. Where this site is paid a commission by a seller, that is stated in text beside every link to that seller and counted on the disclosure page. A commission is a payment for referred sales; it is not a license, a partnership or an endorsement.

It also does not create any right for either side to use the other’s name beyond what is already true: this site names the seller because it writes about the seller, and a seller quoting a figure from here should quote the reading date with it, which is the condition set out in the terms of use.

If you own a mark used here

Write to contact@nadprices.com and say which page and which use. Corrections are made on the page and logged on corrections.

If you are a trademark holder, an authorized agent or counsel, please include the mark, the registration number if there is one, the address of the page, and what specifically is at issue. Trademark correspondence is read and answered. If a use on this site is wrong, it gets fixed on the page and recorded in public with a date, the same way a wrong price is.

The same address takes a report that this page itself is inaccurate — that the company named above is not the right one, for example, or that a mark has changed hands. Ownership moves, and a page that names an owner has to be correctable.
